Sounding Motion aims to demonstrate the relationship between live contemporary music and dance on a uniquely intimate scale.

A collective of dancers, musicians (viola/ percussion), composer and choreographer made up of graduates from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London Contemporary Dance School and Northern Contemporary Dance School. Their performances have been lauded for their "engaging intensity" (Michael White), "eloquent form and distinct musical colour" (Jessica Sabatini).

Sounding Motion was recently chosen for an Emerging Excellence Award from the Musician's Benevolent Fund in recognition of their unique artistic vision and boundary-breaking work.
